Deleting Fake Email Notification on BlogDriv

From: blogdrive / forum / topic / t / 3149

I have around 400 - 450 emails in my notification list and some of them are not legid so I have to delete them. But the problem is how? How do I know which one is working? How do I know which one is not?

Here are a few quick steps I took to check them.

What you need:

  • BlogDrive Email Notification List,
  • Excel,
  • A New/disposable Gmail account,
Instructions:
  • Go to Notifications page,
  • List all 400 emails by insert the l and o category,
  • Copy and Paste everything into Excel,
  • copy only the column with the email address,
  • open a new Excel Spreadsheet
  • Format it to two columns: Name and Email
  • Leave the name column blank (it's okay)
  • Save as CSV (*.csv)
  • Use Gmail import service and done.

After that send one of your blog entry in an email to everyone, whoever returns a failed mailer daemon would be a non working email. Delete them.

Through this process, I've cleaned up around 40 emails, which is about 10%.
